It can reduce conventional home heating costs by up to 50% in NSW, Vic, SA & WA; more in QLD and less in ACT and Tas, although the $ savings in these colder locations is higher.

Solectair Uno Add-On Kit for Ducted Reverse Cycle Airconditioners

This kit is designed as an add-on unit that connects into your existing ducted airconditioner ducting to deliver out (of up to eight) of your room vents; either warm solar heated air during autumn winter and spring when the roof space temperature is greater than the temperature inside your house or Cool Night Air during summer when it is cooler outside than it is in your house. It is recommended that you leave your airconditioner turned off to save energy and Solectair provides base heating or cooling when it is available. When you want it warmer or cooler, then you can turn on your airconditioner to “top up” the base heating or cooling temperature.

If you have a system with more than eight outlets you could still use this system, however reduced airflow will be experienced and it may not be as effective in larger homes, you could consider two units or a special larger unit may become available – please email your queries to sales@solectair.com.

It is recommended that you leave your gas furnace turned off to save energy and Solectair provides base heating or cooling when it is available.
